Ok, I'll probably update this post when I get to play all the demo, but I will share with you my thoughts so far (only played around 20 mins), as a RPG-user and creator a full game tons of years ago (with the RPG Maker 2003). I was impressed when I heard that the game was actually dubbed. And moreover, I kinda liked voices! Also, for the few dialogues I heard/saw, I kinda like the relationship Miho/Michiro (her name was Michiro... right!? xD) and how most of their discussions go on the comic-side. The "Oh you're just justifying him because you lo--- EEK" "Shut up" etc. scene was kinda hilarious ahah On the negative side, sprites and settings do not impressive me that much. Wouldn't be able to explain why sprites don't get on me, but if your friend made them, kudos to him/her ('cause I'm really zero when coming to draw sprites xD). Settings seem to be a bit too... simple imho. But I'm aware how hard can be to make a proper setting and how much time is needed to actually make them look cute/good. I've been through all of this, sadly X° As regard random battles... no escape button? (ok, when he asked me if I remembered the actions, I said "yes" ) Also, TP are useless imho. A random battle doesn't last enough to make the party use their skills. So everything falls (for now) on press enter to just randomly basic attack. If I can give an hint, I'd say your friend should change TP-Based skills with MP-based ones. This way the skills cannot be abused (due to MP-shortage), but at least they can be used somewhere else than in boss fights One last thing: I know this is still a demo, but I couldn't find a way to close the game from the main menu. I had to press Ctrl+Alt+Del and stop it manually :/ Anyway, I'll write my final thoughts in here when I finish it, but basically I liked it so far

thanks a lot for the feedback! I passed it on to him! so far the biggest problem seems to be lack of staff. there is more to the story that has just yet to be shown, as far as I know myself. Though I can agree a bit with the battle system. the healing is a bit to powerful aswell, but there is a flee option, I found it myself yesterday X'D

I'll just copy paste what Phlim said too your comments! It took a while to find the right voices for the characters. I'm glad you liked them! The game will have the occasional comical moments; whether Miho says something to the twins, or Michiro has another bug scare, lol. However, to balance those happy moments, there will also be unhappy moments too. I've been trying hard to find a sprite artist to help me out. The sprites were done in 2010, so they're not that impressive, sadly. Since last year, I've been looking for someone to do a slightly taller spriteset suitable for the game's setting, as well as the battle system's sprites (which I've planned to be even more taller, and detailed). A lot of people in the RPG Maker community seem to use "Parallax Mapping", which makes maps look hugely impressive. However, due to issues with the "MODE7" script used in the world map, it doesn't work for me. I agree, making a setting is pretty difficult. ^^; The escape button can be found, simply by pressing the cancel button when Michiro (or the first non-KO'd person) is highlighted. This opens the Party Command menu, where the Escape action is found. I'll remove the "TP = 0 after battle" feature, as there's been a considerable amount of comments about this. When the game progresses, the TP will eventually be configured correctly as a Limit Gauge bar. I shall switch the skills (i.e. Michiro's "Power Shot") to MP-type skills. The plan is to make it so characters' TP gauges don't start filling UNTIL they learn their first Limit Technique. ;D I still haven't completed the menu system properly. Originally it would've been under "System", but I updated it with the newer version like an idiot, lol. So sadly, there are only 3 ways to quit out of the game: 1) End "Game.exe" procress (Ctrl+Alt+Del) 2) Quit using Alt+F4 3) Press F12 in-game. Sorry about that. Hopefully the next demo will have the new menu system, which looks a hell of a lot better!
