When I first started DOMO I also struggle with lots of problems, so I was happy I got DOMO, at that time I had more friends online than irl. and I think that is the reason I have so much feelings for that game and the reason I still talk with many of them.

"I hate this stigma attached to ‘online friends’. A lot of people, mainly older generations who haven’t grown up in the environment we have, seem to think that anyone who talks to you online is out to hurt you." HOLY TRUE WORDS! I hate people saying "you don't know them! You can't be friend with someone you don't actually see irl!!" when they actually NEVER played a MMORPG or tried to make friendships online. You're judging something from stupid prejudices. I love everyone of you guys, really. And I really consider you all as a second family. We lost a lot of people after "DOMO's falling", and that already hurted me irrevocably. Tbh, I was (and I'm still) an idiot when playing MMORPGs, mostly. I've done tons of stupid errors, but I guess that they brought me up till here so... let's focus on the future now, or maybe on the present And as regard my future, I want you to be part of it (hm, I think I've read this "quote" somewhere lol o.o). I don't want like to lose contacts. And in some way I'm scared. Eventually everything will fade out, I guess. Honestly we all have our lives. Who knows what's happening in 5 or 10 years But I don't care, not now at least. we've done well to keep in touch for this length of time And let's keep in touch for just as much as we've done till now <3 Ah, I just wanted to thank you, Rinn Croft, for making this forum <3

Yes we should keep in touch forever if possible! D8 kya, you might have been a bit of an idiot now and then but we have all have and I saw you as an awesome follow guild member while you was in SS. So imo you could have been a lot more idiotic ;3
DOMO really did give us a 2nd family :3

Ah, I just wanted to thank you, Rinn Croft, for making this forum <3 Aw thanks Kya =) I just couldn't see any other way of keeping as many people in touch as possible, since a forum is more accessible than a game. And yes, to the online friends thing - it makes it really hard to admit to other people IRL that it was all of you who helped me through, because of how they will judge that experience =/ Like you're not 'real' people or something which is ridiculous, because during that time all of you were the most 'real' people I know, you didn't look down on me or berate me for my interests. Grr, I get angry just thinking about how some people treat others in that kind of way xD

ah well it's in human nature to define everthing that is different from our comfortzone as weird and dangerous. and a way to cope with that is by rediculing it. Honestly there's nothing much to do about it. We are the pioneers of socializing over the internet and thus carry the 'curse' that comes with . There's really no use getting angry about it, because at the end of they day, we all do the same. Don't believe me? look at all the hate justin bieber gets. most people from our generation don't get that people from the generation after us can listen to him. and deep down we're scared that if we don't act, all music will become like that. hence we redicule the guy. It's just human nature. but you know, live and let live~
also a very touching post, rinn. and yeah domo was indeed an amazing time in my life but in a way, i think it's good that it shut down. i was starting to get bored of it so the game kinda shut down at it's highest point for me. if it would have lived longer i might have not found it as valuable anymore. But yeah, we had such an amazing community <3

Grr, I get angry just thinking about how some people treat others in that kind of way xD *hugs* mind your blood pressure. I mean getting angry/annoyed is only hurting you. As to the question if domo didn't get killed it would have probably lasted max 6 months for most of us to get really bored of the game. It was fun as long as it lasted. I enjoyed talking to a lot of people in that game. Still feels slightly weird when people tell me my character was kind of famous in the game(I never felt like that in any way). For my opinion on how people act online. I think most people (not all but most) act online and in mmo the way they really are. I mean interacting with people through a medium like that doesn't have the same barriers talking to someone face to face has. Since the effect of your actions have less effect on yourself online I think people let their real personality show through.

My blood pressure is perfect *smug* Haha, yeah - the difference in 'popularity' between RL me and DOMO me was quiiiiite a big step xD Exactly Gig. Probably the reason I was so open with you all really, the medium we used just made it easier.

I honestly dont know what I would do without you guys. When DOMO went down I was just hoping, begging to get together again in any MMO. We manage now, but it isnt the same as DOMO, unfortunaltly. But fortunalty we have a lot of other means to contact eachother
